The Northern Territory Cattlemen's Association marks 40 years at its annual industry conference at Alice Springs, NT, this week, attracting visitors from across the country.
The conference has transformed into a pivotal gathering for the cattle industry and offered attendees a plethora of industry speakers and networking opportunities.
NTCA chief executive officer Will Evans hoped attendees gained insight into emerging industry issues and opportunities, as well as renewed encouragement to help grow the cattle industry.
He saw the event as a vehicle to help propel industry forward and recognise the efforts of its leaders.
NTCA business development officer Isobel Heffernan and Brisbane-based consultant Pete Lewis were MCs at the event, while the keynote address was delivered by National Cattlemen's Beef Association's Todd Wilkinson.
Other speakers included Rabobank's Angus Gidley-Baird, Coffey Cattle Co's Adam Coffey, Cattle Australia's Dr Chris Parker, Kidder Williams Limited's David Williams and AACo's David Harris.
