Matthew leads the way for Northam Agricultural Society

At the Northam Agricultural Society annual meeting last week Matthew Letch from Clackline was re-elected as president for 2020.

With Simon Reynolds accepting the role of vice president, Kylie Board remaining as secretary and Elizabeth Greep becoming treasurer.

Committee members who were eligible for re-election and accepted were Fiona Brown, Angus Cooke, Grant Cooke, Karen Ducat, Clark Reynolds and Neville Watson.

The Northam Agricultural Society also welcomed new committee members Joshua Antonio, James West, Caitlyn Crowd, Andrew Ryall, Jim Peacock, Lisa Peacock and Cameron Fernihough.

The committee will work together to organise the 2020 Northam Farmers Show on September 11 and 12 from 9am to 5pm.

Single entry to the show will be $10 per adult, $5 per child and under school children are free.

Entrants can also get a family pass for $25 which includes two children and two adults.

The committee are also excited for the Poultry auction, which will be held on May 17.

This event assists with vital funds for the Northam Agricultural Society to host the 2020 Northam Farmers Show.
