Popular Northam festival cancelled due to COVID-19 fears
The Northam Motorsport Festival has been postponed this year due to the federal government advising against non-essential public events of 100 people or more.
As the festival is one of the biggest in Northam the Vintage Sports Car Club hopes to hold the event later this year.
A post on the event's facebook page stated: "Our club understands the disappointment and inconvenience this will cause to the public, competitors and our event officials and the Northam business community who were planning to be part of a great event in three weeks' time.
"Of particular disappointment is the funding the various Northam community groups will now not receive because of this situation."
