Police are looking for a duo who they believe can help their search for a gunman who remains on the run in Perth following a police chase and shooting on Monday.
WA police yesterday found the stolen car involved in the shooting in Perth's southern suburbs.
The silver Holden Cruze was abandoned near Dwyer Crescent in Gosnells.
The car was stolen from an address in Maddington on Friday. Offenders later tried to use credit cards that were in the car at two petrol stations in Armadale.
The bonnet and boot of the Cruze were painted after it was stolen.
The car was involved in a fuel drive-off at a petrol station on Albany Highway in Maddington at about 7.20am yesterday.
Officers tried to stop the vehicle in Gosnells at 9.30am but a police chase followed and the car was last seen in Dorothy Street, Gosnells. The occupant/s of the vehicle were armed with a firearm and at least one shot was fired from the window of the car as police followed it.
Investigators want to speak to anyone that saw this vehicle of have dashcam vision of the vehicle prior to it being located in Gosnells.
