A man in his 20s has died following a crash on Toodyay Road in Gidgegannup in the early hours of Friday morning.
About 4:45am a member of the public came across a white Hyundai Getz that had been involved in a crash with a tree along Reserve Road, Gidgegannup, approximately 4km north of the Toodyay Road intersection.
A police spokesperson said it appeared the vehicle was being driven north along the road prior to the crash, and it was not known when the crash occurred.
The driver of the vehicle, a man aged in his 20s, died at the scene.
Major Crash Investigators are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and would like to hear from anyone who may be able to provide information that would assist with establishing when the crash occurred.
