Wheatbelt band The Eastern Line are in the running to take out West Australian Country Music Independent EP of the Year at this year's WA Country Music Awards.
The Muckinbudin group were announced as finalists in the category last week, alongside Mike Goodwin and The Little Lord Street Band, for their EP 'Place of Living Water'.
Festival music director Sharon Winter said the awards, now in their 35th year, honoured, recognised and celebrated WA artists pursuing a career in country music, including juniors.
"We are once again pleased to shine a light on the outstanding country music talent in Western Australia", Ms Winter said.
"We look forward to seeing finalists and winners going on to further carve out their place on the country music scene."
Winners will be announced on stage at Music Park during the Boyup Brook Country Music Festival presented by LiveLighter on Friday, February 14.
