Northam Theatre Group's latest production The Roaring 20's opens at The Link Theatre, Northam this week, a fabulous step back in time to a period that was all about fashion, fun and frivolity.
With shows running over two weekends there is sure to be a time to suit everyone.
The cast includes Les Lee, Gerard Sermon, Lea McCall, Brooke Vincent, Mike Vincent, Jennifer Kobulniczky-Duncan, Cara Grigio, Thomas Bennetts, Colleen Ivatts-Miles, Adam Marchant, Emma Nunn, Tracy Tainsh, Pat Knight and Peta Newbound
A cross between The Untouchables, The Cotton Club & The Three Stooges, The Roaring 20's is a tongue-in-cheek look at a period in history which had a dark side lightened by moments of pure fantasy.
Our story is set in the Kit Kat Club, owned by Big Al Caprorn, with Tony Adagio as the Master of Ceremonies.
Al arrives at the Club with his cohorts and his current girlfriends.
The sub-heroine is Patricia Delicia, a new young woman in town who wants to be a dancer.
Tonight the Kit Kat Klub is hosting the local police precinct's Christmas party, so Al figures it will be a good time to do some 'banking business' while the boys in blue are enjoying the party.
Tickets on sale at Everlastings on Fitzgerald and Trybooking.
Crowds are invited to join in the fun and come in costume.
