Members of the Northam community have gathered at a Remembrance Day service hosted by the local Returned Services League (RSL) sub-branch on Monday morning.
The service, held at 11am on November 11, saw more than 100 members of the public join in on the commemorations.
Lead by Northam RSL vice president Trevor Craine, the Last Post was played by Luis Lim and Caitlin Morris, and wreaths were laid by representatives of the police, local government and community organisations.
The poem Letter from the Trenches by Victor Churchill was read out by Donna Prytulak and the official Remembrance Day address was given by Naval Association Australia vice president Brad Barrett.
The public were invited to lay poppies in the Northam RSL memorial following the service.
The Northam RSL sub-branch thanked the Shire of Northam and the local community for their support.
