Bushfire advice has been issued for parts of the Lakes in the Shire of Mundaring as crews attend to an out of control fire.
The fire was reported before 8.30am on Wednesday near the intersection of Goods Road and Flynn Road.
There is no threat to lives or homes but the Department of Fire and Emergency Services has advised that there is a lot of smoke in the area.
The fire is currently contained and under control.
Firefighters are strengthening containment lines.
Roads have not been closed.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area, reduce speed and drive carefully due to smoke.
Shire of Mundaring is managing the fire.
Currently there has been 35 hectares burnt.
