Operating in Northam since 2012, MM Electrical Merchandising commenced with a mission to supply quality products and service to contractors and installers working in the electrical industry.

"We have customers who work in the domestic, commercial and industrial markets, and also welcome sales and enquiries from local businesses and the general public," manager Phil Bonis said.

The team at MM Electrical Merchandising Northam consists of three people; Phil, Racquel and Brody, who have 50 years' combined experience in supplying products to the electrical industry.

"The main products we offer are lighting, electrical switch gear and accessories, cable, conduit, electric motors and control equipment, air movement and air conditioning," Phil said, adding that several things set MM Electrical Merchandising Northam apart from others in the industry.

"What makes us special is our people, our customers and our suppliers," he said.

"The team at MM Northam go above and beyond to consistently meet and exceed the expectations of our customers.

"We enjoy being part of the Northam and Central Wheatbelt community and understand the need to have a strong local economy, which is why we are a firm supporter of the Northam Be Local Buy Local campaign.

"We employ local people, use local businesses and services and support local events, sports teams and charities."

Phil said the team also made it a priority to keep up to date with the latest in the industry: "The current trends in our business are associated with economical and efficient power use, with advances in LED lighting, solar power and home automation.

"We will always recommend that you seek professional advice as many products sold by us must only be installed by a registered electrical contractor," he said.

"DIY installation of these products is not only dangerous and illegal, but may void the product warranty and your insurance."
