A Northam car dealership has helped support the future development of sporting stars in the region, sponsoring two local groups over the out-going winter season.
The 2019 winter sports season saw Avon Valley Isuzu UTE supports the Avon Junior Football League (AJFL) for the second year, and the first year of support for the Renegades Netball Club.
Last year, the business sponsored AJFL uniforms and this year supplied footballs.
The grand final winning Renegades were supported through the supply of their uniforms for the season.
Avon Valley Isuzu UTE dealer principal Leonie Knipe, who also plays for the Renegades, said she was proud to be able to help grow sport in the region.
"Isuzu UTE's Local Sports Sponsorship Fund is a great initiative that has allowed us to continue to support the growth and development of the junior football in Northam and surrounds as well as the local netball team," she said.
AJFL registrar Karen O'Driscoll thanked the business for their support of the aspiring footballers.
"We couldn't be happier with the support we've received once again from Avon Valley Isuzu UTE," she said.
"Last year we were able to purchase a full set of association uniforms including shirts, shorts and socks and this year we were able to purchase footballs which we proudly printed Avon Valley Isuzu UTE's logo on them.
"Without kind donations like this, it can take months, even years to raise that kind of money so it is greatly appreciated by all."
