A new round of grants that provides grants to children aged 12-18 who are attending eligible state, national or international championships, is open for another round.
Member for Durack Melissa Price said the grants would be used as an opportunity to support talented, ambitious young sports people and their dedicated families.
"It is a fantastic chance to assist these children pursue their sporting dreams and represent their communities, but also to help their families cover costs which can be prohibitive," Ms Price said.

"The program continues to grow, with the government committing to a funding boost of $11.8 million over four years. This has resulted in a record year for the program, with more than 9000 grants issued across 76 different sports."
