An array of farm animals, displays from community groups and a strong public presence made for a successful 130th Northam Farmers Show.
The annual event, held over last weekend, showcased the town's passion for all things farming and agriculture.
Northam Agricultural Society president Matthew Letch said this year's success was thanks to the small but dedicated team of committee members.
"The 2019 Northam Farmers Show was a success with great community support and organised by a strong committee," he said.
"If anyone wants to come on board for the 2020 show then they are most welcome, but be prepared for hard work.
"Thank you to the Northam people for supporting us."
Mr Letch said exhibit numbers in the pavilion and poultry section were up on previous years.
Long-time Agricultural Society committee member Mark Wilding was presented with life membership at the opening ceremony on Friday night, much to his surprise.
Mr Letch said Mr Wilding was a willing worker, always turning up for busy-bees, fundraisers and show preparation.
This year's show success demonstrated a strong bounce-back by the committee, following negative social media feedback on last year's event.
Committee member Heather Meiklem said the positive feedback from the 2019 event had been pouring in.
"There was a really good feel about the show throughout and the dynamics of a few strong town advocates kept us going," she said.
"We tweaked a few things and got stronger from last year's comments.
"Exhibit numbers were way up so the support of the community came through with that as well."
