Recent rainfall has delivered good river conditions for the course, which winds down the Avon River through the historic farming regions of Northam and Toodyay, to the Swan Valley wineries and eventually into the waters of the Swan River, with the racing concluding at Riverside Gardens, Bayswater on Sunday afternoon.
"Events like the Avon Descent deliver important benefits for local communities, are vital for tourism and they help local economies grow," Ms Davies said.
"Regional Western Australia is full of untapped potential when it comes to tourism and this event showcases the magnificent landscape Avon Valley and the people that make this a great place to live," Ms Davies said.
The Nationals WA congratulate event organisers, competitors and supporters involved in the Avon Descent 2019.
