A paddock of varying body shapes, full of chips, in need of repair and alignment, not the yard of Speciales Smash Repairs but the assembled field of golfers in last Saturday's par event, sponsored by Speciales Smash Repairs.

Par can be a difficult event for many golfers, however one player, Brian Gogan was finding the game a breeze.

Gogan started slowly, grinding out a plus one on the first nine holes, before putting on a polished performance on the second nine with seven pars and the sealer was a birdie on the par 5 No. 15 finishing the day with a score of plus six.

Runner-up Les Lee junior needed Speciale Towing on the course when his cart gave up on the eighth hole.

Not letting this incident dent his scorecard he proceeded on foot to come in with a score of plus two to beat Ray Wiktorski for second place on a countback.
