A Bassendean man has been charged with dangerous driving occasioning death following a crash that claimed the life of a passenger in Sawyers Valley last week.

It is alleged vehicle rolled over and caught on fire last Wednesday night on Great Eastern Highway, near Stonehouse Loop.
A passenger of the vehicle died at the scene.
Another passenger and the driver of the vehicle were transferred to Royal Perth Hospital.
The 29-year-old driver of a Holden Caprice has been charged with dangerous driving occassioning death under circumstances of aggravation, dangerous driving occawsioning bodily harm under circumstances of aggravation and no authority to drive.
The man will appeared in Perth Magistrates Court in Northbridge on Saturday, June 15.
