It was a glorious morning in Bernard Park last Saturday with members from RSL Branch cooking sausage sizzle at The Lions Community Markets.
More than 48 stall owners arrived early to set up in beautiful Bernard Park, to deliver their amazing range of goods for all to see and purchase.
Lions members were happy to see their new Lions Train working in the park, which is a feature for young and old to enjoy and ride.
Lions Community Markets have been in the park for six years and thank groups like RSL and alike for their participation in the mornings, and providing successful sausage sizzles, which raise funds to donate back to our community.
The Lions Club goals are SMART, which is specific, measurable, actionable, realistic, time bound, which describes its members.
This is one of the reasons why this project is so successful, and we also recognise the contribution of other volunteer groups, and local community, which reflects such a positive outcome.
Again, thank you RSL Branch Northam members for your commitment on Saturday morning for making it a great sausage sizzle and reminding us, of why we all work together to make a successful, and healthy community.
If you would like to join in the fun at Bernard Park on the first Saturday of each month, whether for a stall holder or the opportunity for your club to raise funds for a project, please call 0409 576 560.
