I have been in Northam for 13 years. Before that I was in Fremantle.
I have three kids - two older ones in their 20s and a four-year-old. The four-year-old was a surprise and blessing.
I have been involved in the Northam community over the years including Northam Rotary. I spent four years running a Action Site - Bidding wars and gave to different charities each month. Unfortunately I needed to stop for my health but I'm getting involved again.
The best moment in my life so far has been meeting my partner and having my three children.
I have had a few bad moments in life - but you get over them and move on.
I really love the Northam community, its large enough to have choice but small enough not to get lost. There is such a sense of community here. Its a great place to bring up kids and its still close to Perth.
My advice would be take your time growing up. There is no rush. Once you have grown up there is no turning time back.
