A local football legend will be taking to the field on the weekend to play his 400th game - the highest number of games played in the Avon Football Association.
Wade 'Freddy' Hunter will run out on Henry Street Oval on Sunday, March 26 with his reserves teammates to celebrate the biggest milestone in local football history.
The 42 year old is often the oldest player on the ground but has had no shortage of on field achievements.
In 1997 Freddy was named Fairest and Best, is a six time best utility player, three time best backman, has been a leading goal kicker, five time Federals Premiership player - of which he was the captain four times - and most recently the 2018 best on ground in the A reserve grand final.
The family man is modest about his achievements.
"I was born and raised with the club - I've always stuck with them," he said.
"Watching the young blokes coming through has been really great and you get play with different players every year. I've had a good time."
Freddy said his favourite moment of his football career has been breaking a 47 year premiership drought with the Federals.
"t was our hundredth year and we were lucky enough to win that grand final," he said.
"We went on and won four grand finals in six years.
"We had no idea what it was about because we hadn't been in a grand final for that long.
"We did get used to winning and stuck with the same team for a few years and didn't look back."
Freddy said last year's best on ground award for the reserves grand final was a special achievement.
He was also the oldest player on ground.
"It turned back the clock a bit winning the best on ground last year," he said.
"I'm loving it too much to notice my age.
"It's only been the last couple of weeks that I have coped a few injuries - I haven't had one in years."
On the weekend, the milestone player will be cheered on my his family.
"I've got my two little boys - they love coming down to the footy on the weekends," he said.
"I reckon once my boy starts playing I'll be getting close to 500 games.
"It'll be a good game.
"A lot of my mates from Perth, past coaches and presidents will be coming up for the games."
Freddy said he hopes to continue playing for the side for another three years, and has since picked up coaching his son's under 9s football club.
He said the biggest change he has seen around the club is the young players not sticking around after the game for a drink.
"I've lost a few of my drinking partners - that's about the only thing that has changed."
Federals Football Club president Phil Robinson said Freddy has proved to be a reliable player, staying loyal to the club for his entire career.
Wade Hunter will play his 400th game at the Henry Street Oval in Northam at 12.15pm on Sunday, May 26.
