A number of committed Wheatbelt staff and volunteers have been recognised for their exceptional level of service to St John Ambulance WA.
The organisation held its annual Investiture of the Western Australian Commandery of the Order of St John on April 6, with the event conducted at Government House by WA Governor Kim Beazley.
Included in those recognised was Charles Wroth, who has volunteered at the Toodyay Sub Centre for 38 years and John Thomas from Northam, who has contributed for 37 years.
Moora's Pauline Smoker and Paul White were also recognised for their 30 and 21 years of service respectively.
St John WA chief executive Michelle Fyfe thanked those being recognised.
"The Order of St John is British Royal Order of Chivalry, and therefore being admitted to, or promoted within, the Order is a great honour and we are very proud of all those recognised this year, some of whom have dedicated more than 50 years of service to the community," she said.
