Police are investigating a serious traffic crash in Red Hill on Friday night.
The crash happened on Toodyay Road near the intersection of Neuman Road about 7.45pm.
Police allege a white 2000 model Toyota Prado was travelling east when it crashed into the rear of a stationary white 2006 model single-cab Ford Courier utility, with an aluminium tray back.
The 20-year-old driver of the Ford Courier was outside his vehicle at the time and sustained serious injuries.
He was conveyed by the RAC Rescue Helicopter to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.
An 18-year-old passenger in the Ford Courier and the 32-year-old male driver of the Toyota Prado both sustained minor injuries.
Major Crash investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the Toyota Prado or the Ford Courier driving in the area prior to the crash.
