Bushfire advice issued in Clackline, Great Eastern Highway closed
A bushfire advice has been issued for people travelling along Great Eastern Highway in Clackline.
The fire was reported at 11.21am on Tuesday, March 26 near the intersection of Spencers Brook Road and Great Eastern Highway.
There is currently no threat to lives or homes but the fire is out of control and unpredictable.
Great Eastern Highway is currently closed between Eadine Road and Kimberley Road.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area, reduce speed and drive carefully due to smoke.
Firefighters from Clackline, Bakers Hill, Inkpen and Irishtown are on the scene alongside local bush fire brigades.
