Members of the Kellerberrin Community Men's Shed and Sheila's Shack are set to benefit from new kitchen facilities thanks to funding from Lotterywest.
Member for the Agricultural Region Laurie Graham presented the cheque last Friday during a visit to the town.
The $30,200 funding will give the groups improved kitchen facilities including new electrical and plumbing works, new benches and cupboards as well as a stove top, wall oven and refrigerator.
Currently the members in the shed only have access to coffee and tea at a cafe bar.
Mr Graham said the facilities are one of the best he had seen and complimented the men on a job well done.
Men's Shed president Ray Limbrick said the Men's Shed and Sheila's Shack would like to thank Lotterywest and the Labor Government for the support on the project.
