A new solo show, on display at the Northam Visitors Centre, by Meckering artist Holly Lamey gives both a retrospective of Holly’s work and showcases newer pieces in oil, ink and mixed media.
With subjects including local landmarks, stormy skies and old (animal) friends, these works are accomplished and very approachable.
The fellow on the easel is not for sale.
The show will be on until March 24.
Monday, March 11 also marked the first of the new AVAS art group days at the Old Girl’s School, Wellington Street, where folks can come along to draw or paint with a cup of tea.
On Mondays from 10am bring your lunch and your art, make a gold coin donation and enjoy the company while you work.
Anyone interested should contact Shona on 0418 679 126.
