There was a good turn up of members for the recent annual general meeting of the Northam Agricultural Society.
Matthew Letch from Clackline was re-elected as president for 2019 with the able assistance of Jim Smith from Northam as his vice-president.
Kylie Board has agreed to remain as secretary and Elizabeth Greep is treasurer for 2019.
Clinton Richter announced his retirement from the committee after many years of service.
Committee members who were eligible for re-election and accepted were Anita Hayes, Heather Meiklem, Christine, Watson, Mark Wilding, Fiona Meiklem and Liz Greep.
A grateful welcome is extended to new committee members Joanne Fernihough, Debbie Hughes, Jess Joy and Sue Rogers.
This year’s theme for the Northam Farmers Show is ‘Recycle for a Better Future’ and will be incorporated into several of the Sections in the Exhibition Pavilion.
The 2019 Northam Farmers Show will be on Friday, September 13 from 5pm to 9pm and Saturday, September 14 9am to 5pm.
Membership remains the same and is the best way to see the show as you can come and go again and again on the Friday and Saturday.
