Avon set to host Super Crit cyclists in round three of the series | Photos

An exciting race of athleticism, skill and endurance is set to hit Northam on Saturday. 

The Ring Summer Criterium Series is heading to Northam in round three of the five-round event.

The leg of the race will see a core group of up to 250 competitors take to the streets of the town.

As part of the event program, a free Dome Little Critters event will be held for children aged 11 and under to take a lap of the circuit.

 All types of bikes are welcome with children supervised by parents and coaches during the lap. 

Registrations for the Dome Little Critters event can be done online or on the day from 1:30pm - 3:50pm at the registration tent located in the car park left of the Northam Visitor Centre on Minson Avenue. 

Please be aware that the streets listed below  will be closed on Saturday, February 16: 

• Minson Avenue - between Beavis Place and Grey Street

• Fitzgerald St E - between Beavis Place and Grey Street

• Gordon Street - between Fitzgerald St E and Wellington St E

• Wellington St E - between Gordon St and Grey St

• Grey St- between Wellington St E and Minson Avenue

Road closures will be in place from 1:30pm, with streets reopening at 8:00pm.
