A man in his 40s has escaped with minor injuries after being freed from a vehicle that struck a tree in the early hours of Thursday morning in Hines Hill.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services was alerted of a single vehicle collision with a tree around 4.19am Thursday, February 7 on Great Eastern Highway near Swan Street.
Three crews from the Kellerberrin and Merredin Volunteer Fire and Rescue Services were on the scene assisting in freeing the man, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
Police and St John Ambulance were also on the scene.
He was taken to Merredin Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
