A crash along the Great Eastern Highway in Burlong on Friday afternoon has tragically killed a 20-year-old Northam man and 44-year-old York man.
About 4.25pm, the pair were travelling east in a Holden Caprice when it collided with a Hyundai Elantra that was travelling west.
The 20-year-old died at the scene near the Mitchell Avenue intersection.
The 44-year-old was taken to Northam Regional Hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died.
The driver of the Hyundai Elantra, a man in his 40’s, and his passenger, a man in his 50’s, were both taken to hospital by St John Ambulance.
Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
