The Department of Transport is on the move in Toodyay with its Driver and Vehicle Services centre being relocated to operate within the Toodyay & Districts Bendigo Bank from Tuesday 29 January 2019.
DoT’s Driver and Vehicle Services assistant general manager Steve Mitchinson said Toodyay residents would continue to have choice and convenience when doing their licensing business as services transition from the Toodyay Licensed Post Office to the Toodyay & Districts Bendigo Bank.
“Customers should be aware that DoT services will be temporarily unavailable in Toodyay on 25 January as equipment is moved across to the bank,” Mr Mitchinson said.
Mr Mitchinson said the Toodyay & Districts Bendigo Bank would be able to assist customers with services including driver and vehicle licence renewal, driver licence applications and vehicle registrations.
The Toodyay & Districts Bendigo Bank will provide DoT services between 9.00am and 4.30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 9.30am to 4.30pm on Tuesdays.
Toodyay residents will continue to be able to sit computer theory tests and hazard perception tests at the bank on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 9.00am and 3.30pm and from 9.30 am to 3.30pm on Tuesdays.
