APM is looking for nine great Northam people to join its local team to deliver NIDS Local Area Coordination (LAC) services in the inner Wheatbelt region.
APM is a human services company based in Perth that has been given approval to deliver LAC across several WA regions, including the inner wheat belt and is looking to recruit nine people based in Northam.
Group chief executive Michael Anghie said APM is after motivated self-starters who wanted to make a difference to their local community.
“We are looking for passionate people who want to assist their local community to become more inclusive of people with disabilities,” Mr Anghie said.
“Our LAC team support people with disabilities by providing information and choice to achieve their personal goals.
“APM provides on the job training and mentoring and there are great opportunities across the business.”
APM commenced operations in WA in 1994 and has assisted tens of thousands of West Australians with injury, illness and disability in over the past 24 years.
Local Area Coordinators have three key roles; they help link people to the NDIS; they link them to information and support in the community, and they work with local communities to make sure it is more welcoming and inclusive for people with disability.
APM delivers these services from more than 400 locations nationally across Australia, and in New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
