A 20-year-old woman from Burswood has died after a horror crash in Burlong on Sunday morning, with police calling for witnesses to come forward.
Major Crash officers are investigating the crash, which they say took place about 11am on Great Eastern Highway.
Police say a grey Fiat Punto was travelling westerly along Great Eastern Highway when it collided with a red B-Double road train car carrier, also travelling westerly.
The Fiat then travelled to the incorrect side of the carriageway and collided head-on with a silver VW Touareg that was towing a caravan.
The driver of the Fiat Punto sustained significant injury. St John Ambulance conveyed her to the Northam Hospital where she died a short time later.
The 74-year-old driver of the VW Touareg sustained minor injury. St John Ambulance Paramedics conveyed him to the Northam Hospital where he was discharged a few hours later.
The 31-year-old driver of the road train was not injured.
