Information provided by the public has allowed Beverley Police to charge a third person in related to a meerkat stolen from Perth Zoo earlier this year.
A 31-year-old woman has been charged with unlawful possession of stolen property after she was allegedly in possession of a stolen baby meerkat.
The woman from Beverley has been summonsed to appear before the Northam Magistrates Court on 10 December 2018.
A 22-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman from Beverley have ;previously faced court over the theft.
Jesse Ray Hooker has been charged with stealing, while Aimee Cummins has been charged with receiving.
Both appeared in Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday morning and were granted bail until their next appearance in November.
The meerkitten was stolen on September 19 when it was one month old.
It had just started venturing out of its nest box and staff were unsure whether it had been taken by a visitor or snatched by a predatory bird.
Police found the newborn two days later during a search of a home in the town of Beverley in WA's Wheatbelt region, about 130km east of Perth.
