The Labor Party has officially opened their new electoral office on Fitzgerald Street in Northam, with Monday, November 12 marking their first day operating out of the new premises.
Members for the Agricultural Region Laurie Graham and Darren West will be spending their time based out of the Northam site and their already existing Geraldton Office.
The office was constructed and sourced from local companies and hardware outlets including Mitre 10 Northam and unused furniture not needed in the move has been donated to the Fresh Start Recovery Program.
A meeting has not been held in a Labor electorate office in Northam since 1986.
Darren West said the office is a place members of the public can come to for help.
“We can help them as best we can or point them in the right direction,” he said.
The office is located at 167 Fitzgerald Street, Northam.
