The Northam Lawn Tennis Club had 20 members attend the Michael O'Neill Memorial Shield Day on Sunday, November 4. Michael was a long standing tennis member and was fondly remembered by players.
There were excellent playing conditions on all tennis courts.

Our club captain Reuben Thompson and vice captain Josh McNair made up the tennis sets playing to 25 minutes at a time.
Scores were handed in over three rounds.
Men’s winner: Reuben Thompson;
Men’s runner-up: Luke Edmonds.
Ladies winner: Linda Rose;
Ladies runner-up: Lynne Tagliaferri.
Thank you to Cadd's Surf and Sport Northam who donated the winner’s vouchers.
Members stayed on afterwards for drinks and nibbles which were greatly enjoyed by all.
