Quin’s Gormet Butchers is amung hundreds of independent butchers from around Australia that are selling special pink sausages, donning pink hats and aprons and pinking up their shops for the annual Pink Butcher campaign, which raises funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Network Australia.
Participating butchers will be selling a special Australian Pork Pink Butcher Sausage and many local butchers will be delivering their own spin on fundraising, with raffles, barbecues and other events.
There will also be donation tins on the counter for customers to make their own donations.
Business owner Andrew Quin said the shop hopes to raise between $500 to $1,000 towards breast cancer.
