Your guide to Remembrance Day in the Avon Valley

November 11 marks the 100th anniversary since the armistice of the First World War.

Communities around the Wheatbelt and Avon Valley will be commemorating the events of the war on that day.

Bakers Hill

1045 | Service to be conducted at Hooper Park, Gt Eastern Highway, Bakers Hill.

1050 | Service at the village green to commence by the War Memorial.

11 November 2018

1045 | Remembrance Day Commemorative service will be held at Centenary Park.

0900 – 0930 | A church service will be held at Bernard Park, Minson Ave, Northam.

1000 | Poppies will be planted at Bernard Park.

1100 | The main Commemorative Service will be held at Bernard Park.

1200 – 1500 | There will be a family fun day with a free sausage sizzle, bands, kids games and miniature train rides.
