All things medieval will be coming to the town of York for the September long weekend.
Think jousting, suits of armour and horses as the community steps back in time for the fifth annual York Medieval Fayre.
The weekend hosted by the York Friendship Club Incorporated will be kicked off with a medieval banquet a the Old York Mill on Saturday, 22 September.
The night’s events will be followed by Avon Park will be taken over with stalls, music, knights, swordsmen, displays and horse archery on Sunday.
Part proceeds from the event will go towards homelessness in Perth.
Tickets are $5 for adults and kids are free. Gates open at 9am.
