The Dowerin GWN7 Machinery Field Days rolled into town on August 29 and 30 showcasing the best of business in the Wheatbelt and around the state.
The theme for the 54th anniversary of the event was Women in Agriculture highlighting the interal role women have on the male dominated industry.
This year the Field Days met capacity for the number of exhibitors involved. In 2016 a record was hit with 770 individual stalls and displays.
The small Wheatbelt community swells from a population of a few hundred to a predicted 25,500 throughout the two days in August.
There were many Northam based businesses who made the trip to Dowerin including the Northam Craft Centre, Avon Valley Toyota and Northam Florists.
