Northam Police are seeking public assistance for information that could lead to the arrest of a man who slashed a resident’s arm during an attempted home robbery.
Around 10am on July 16 a male in his 30s disturbed a man attempting to break into his house on Old York Road near Chidlow Street East.
As a result the victim received a slash to his arm area caused by a sharp object believed to be a box cutter.
He required medical attention.
The accused did not steal anything from the house.
The man police are looking for is described as being 175cm tall with a skinny build and dark tanned skin.
He was wearing a black hooded jumper, dark blue shorts and a dark bandanna covering the lower portion of his face.
