Rehearsals for the next Northam Theatre Group production are well underway.
The chosen play, a two-act comedy by Alan Ayckbourn titled ‘Family Circles’, revolves around a family of three daughter and their partners.
Their father, Edward Gray, pronounces that they are all married to the wrong person.
But why would the daughters who are visiting their parents’ wedding anniversary suspect that all is not well between their mother and father?
Underlying the comedy is a social comment regarding the sustainability of marriage and relationships.
The cast is a mixture of new faces and those who the audience with recognise from previous productions.
Rehearsals are much fun, with the cast not only changing clothes, but personalities as the plot progresses.
Bookings open on Wednesday 1 August at Everlastings on Fitzgerald or Trybooking.com.
The theatre is heated, and the first three rows are reversed for those who find the stairs difficult.
