The Shire of Northam Council has voted to endorse its draft budget fir 2018/19 at a special council meeting held on Monday 9 July 2018.
Council also resolved to advertise the proposed differential rating which is based on a rate increase of approximately 2.5-per cent to the total rates levied.
Council is now required to give public notice for a period of 21 days with submissions being received up until Friday 3 August 2018.
At the conclusion of the advertising period, submissions will be considered and a report will be presented to Council to adopt the final budget for 2018/19.
