Saturday’s event was the final round of the Club Championships, a stroke round sponsored by Northam Bearing Sales.
Cold and wet conditions greeted the golfers as they attempted to add a good round score to their previous Club Championship points.
The Club Championships are decided over three rounds of stroke.
The wind and rain played havoc with players accuracy, a low score seemed impossible in the conditions.
However one player, Steve Dinka was revelling in the conditions with four pars and birdieing holes 5, 9, 16 and 18, Dinka finished his round with a respectable 83 off-the-stick, a nett 69.
Dinka proved too good for the other 21 players to register a strong win, one stroke ahead of the runner-up Peter Oliver with a nett 70.
