The Northam community has joined together to plant 1,000 trees and unveil a new shelter in Enright Park.
The Rotary Club of Northam and Hillarys as well as from the Avon Valley Environmental Society and Northam Clontarf Academy spent Sunday 15 July planting trees at the park in Northam.
The Clontarf Academy also unveiled a shelter they helped create inspired by the Rainbow Serpent and the Dreamtime.
The painting on the shelter tells the story of the convergence of the Avon and Mortlock Rivers.
