Poppy each with thank yous by students from Wyalkatchem District High School
To mark the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day in 2018 RSLWA are planning to place 62 000 handcrafted red poppies on the lawns surrounding the State War Memorial.
Staff and students at Wyalkatchem District High School set the goal of contributing a poppy for each of our students and our school community exceeded our expectation by knitting and crocheting a total of 231 poppies.

The poppies have been sent to RSLWA and we look forward to seeing the display in Kings Park in November.
