The offspring of the Northam Chamber of Commerce and Northam Women in Business is a relatively young phenomenon known as the Northam Farmers Market.
Only a mere 18 months old it has started to attract attention as a small baby would for community and charity drives in Northam.
The latest deserving charity at the markets is Winter Coats for a Cure.
This official fundraiser proudly supports the Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation and has been initiated by local boy Mason Barr who recently completed a 5km run for the charity raising more than $200.
One-hundred-percent of the proceeds go to the Perth Children’s Hospital – Children’s Cancer Ward 3B.
Now everyone in the community can help Mason’s cause.=

Clear your wardrobe and donate a winter coat to the fundraising cause.
It also means those in need can afford a warm coat for winter.
Coats and jackets can be either dropped off at the Northam Chamber of Commerce office between 9.30am -1pm Monday to Friday, or alternatively Mason’s mum, Kate can come around and collect them.
Who doesn’t have a jacket or coat they no longer need?
