SAFE Avon Valley are asking for donations to help save the life of Morgan, the staffy cross who came to their attention due to his malnourished state.
Morgan was impounded by the Toodyay Rangers last week and SAFE are looking to get him out of the pound.
SAFE said the dog has been chained or tethered by a large, heavy collar for most of his life.
They said he could have been used as a bat dog in dog fighting.
SAFE Avon Valley are looking for the public to sponsor Morgan’s care.
They are asking for donations of good quality puppy food to help him gain weight.
As Morgan hasn’t lived in a proper home before SAFE are looking for people to sponsor his stay in boarding kennels under he gets healthier and can be further assessed. Morgan is estimated to be between four and six years of age.
