Homicide Squad detectives have charged a 70 year old man with murder as a result of their investigation into the death of a 68 year old woman.
The woman was located deceased at a residence on Top Beverley Road in York.
It is understood the woman died in the early hours of Friday morning.
The incident was reported to police around 11.30pm overnight on 8 March 2018.
The man from York is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court tomorrow, Saturday 10 March 2018.
