Main Roads WA has advised Northam drivers to expect delays while resurfacing takes place on Great Eastern Highway between Mitchell Ave and Meenar South Road.
Commencing on Tuesday 9, the works are estimated to be completed by Sunday January 21.
Main Roads WA said lane closures and reduced speeds to 40km/h along Great Eastern Highway could create delay for motorists.
The delays are estimated to be between five and ten minutes.
