The Convic design consultation meeting in January 2017 included open conversation and questions around key features of the proposed youth precinct.
The construction of the Northam Youth Space has been approved by the Northam Council at a meeting on December 20.
In June last year the Jubilee Recreation Precinct on Peel Terrace was chosen as the preferred site location following a number of community consultation meetings.
Council allocated $859,411 in the 2017-18 Budget, however Shire staff will need to seek additional funding to complete all stages of the project, that is estimated to cost $1.5 million dollars in total.
