Avon Youth provides emergency relief funds
Avon Youth Community and Family Services have given away $17,000 in emergency relief funds more than 200 vulnerable and disadvantaged Wheatbelt families in the lead up to Christmas. Families from Northam, Merredin, Kellerberrin and Narrogin have benefited from having financial assistance to pay household bills, provide food and clothing.
Avon Youth chief executive officer Jim Hauraki said he was thankful for the grant for helping the group help in need members of the community.
